Salvation

What Is Salvation?

Salvation is bigger than a formula, it's about understanding and accepting the gospel. The gospel is this: God created man to be in a relationship with him, but we rebelled against God’s loving leadership. God has a plan to redeem His creation through His one and only son Jesus, who is the anointed King. Jesus died on the cross for our rebellion and sin, he was buried, and was resurrected on the third day according to the Scriptures. Because of His love and grace, everyone who repents of their sins, believes the gospel, and follows Jesus, can be saved. God empowers us with the gift of His Holy Spirit, so we can obey Him and love others.

Genesis 1, Psalm 106:43, Romans 5:6, John 3:16-17, Romans 5:8, Mark 1:14-17, 8:27-38, 1 John 2:2, Romans 3:23-26, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Matthew 4:19, John 14:26, 1 John 5:2

We share the gospel by testifying in word and deed that Jesus is the victorious, rescuing king that was promised to Israel. We encourage others to become loyal followers of the king through a faith response of trusting allegiance, repentance from sins, and baptism.
